The site is run by Elucidate Artificial Intelligence (Pty) Ltd and its affiliates (“Elucidate”, “we”, “us”), a data and AI consultancy with teams in South Africa and the United States. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
These terms cover the website only. Work we do for clients is governed by the separate agreement signed for that work.
You may use the site to learn about Elucidate and our services, read our content, and contact us. You agree not to:
We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time.
The content on the site, including our articles, the Elucidate Digest, podcast episodes and case studies, is general information. It is not professional, financial, legal or investment advice, and you should not rely on it without advice suited to your situation.
Case studies describe results achieved for particular clients in particular circumstances. They are not a promise that you will get the same results.
We try to keep the site accurate and up to date, but we don’t guarantee that it is complete, current or free of errors. The Elucidate Digest summarises news and announcements from third parties; check the original sources before acting on them.
The site and its content, including text, graphics, logos, videos and code, belong to Elucidate or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may view, download and print pages for your own information, and share links to them. You may not otherwise copy, reproduce, republish or use our content commercially without our written permission.
Client names and logos belong to their owners.
The site links to other websites, including our social media pages, YouTube and Spotify, and the sources quoted in the Elucidate Digest. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content or how they handle your information.
When you contact us, subscribe or apply for a job, make sure the information you give is accurate and that you’re entitled to share it. We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. Please don’t send confidential information through the site’s forms; if we start working together, we’ll agree a secure way to share it.
The site is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, Elucidate is not liable for any loss or damage (direct, indirect or consequential) arising from your use of the site, your reliance on its content, or the site being unavailable, including loss caused by viruses or other harmful material, or by websites we link to.
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be excluded by the law where you live, including consumer protection laws, or our liability for gross negligence, fraud or wilful misconduct.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information, including through cookies and the analytics tools on the site.
Messages you send through the site are received when they reach our systems, and we may reply to you by email. We don’t sell goods or services directly through the site.
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and disputes about them will be heard by the courts of South Africa, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts under your local law.
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
